Jim, you should actually be able to use the fish water as fertilizer. That way, the frogs won't be exposed to any chemicals and your water gets filtered by the plants at the same time.

Would that really be enough fertilizer for orchids? If that would be good enough it would be great & easy. I actually do use water change fish water to water the house plants in the winter.

That should be plenty since you will be watering fairly often, especially as you add more fish. Hitting your plants with the occasional seaweed fertilizer should help as well.

Tank has been added to & growing quite nicely. New plants & some critters too.

My pitcher plant has been to happy. It is a dwarf variety, but turned out to be a large dwarf. Looking for a smaller individual dwarf.

A bunch of new orchids!

Critters, anoles & long tail lizards. A lot of fish but no pix of them yet.

The anoles sleep in different places each night, this one was a favorite for this little girl.

More pix here Jim's display paludarium my first - Dendroboard check it out!

That's wonderful. I like the shadow pics of the lizards or whatever they are called. Sorry, I don't know much about them!

Wow...fantastic setup! I was just thinking of how nice it would be to go really big, almost room-sized, and here you have posted just what I was thinking about. Phenomenal choice of plants, color and the anoles are great! One of my favorite little reptiles actually. Can't wait to see the pic of fish.
Thanks for sharing your talent for all of us to see and dream about! Beautiful setting - great pics - really nice job!
