Paul, last year, 15 leave division sold on eBay for $400, my division is 30 leaves:-) So yeah, this is for sure the most expensive orchid I have ever bought and I do own (I remember thread here last year saying HOW MUCH would you pay for one plant and I said I do not have any over $100, well that has changed:-))))!). I know this is crazy price, but I just wanted this way too much!

Marvellous! I started experimenting with Hygrolon myself and I have the same feeling: it's awesome!
I simply used some Epiweb and wrapped Hygrolon around it and that seemed to do the trick. At least lying down, hanging them upright seemed to dry out the mounts too quickly...
What did you use as a core for that trunk/tube? I feel like just wrapping all my mounts together and see how it goes

Tommy, I'm sure it is doing great, but any updates on the Pleurothalllis dressleri?
On a side note, I have noticed several different listings for this orchid on ebay this past month.

nikkik, my dressleri is growing absolutely crazy amazing!!! It started growing new leaves from every single direction and there are 2 spikes with buds about to open, so I can't wait to post pictures of the bloom very soon! It is hard to count but I think I am close to 50 leaves!!!!! Yes, the same seller I bought mine has them now listed more often on eBay and I must say, I would buy from him any time!
