My vivarium
Default My vivarium

I was planning to buid a vivarium to grow cool species like draculas, Masdevallias and some more genera.
After a long time searching for information, I built the vivarium.
It measures 1.2 m high x 0.70 m long x 1m wide. I installed a rain system and two fans running 24/7.
I have an extractor but it´s not working yet. is necessary extract or inject air in a cool vivarium?
Also I´m going to install a nebulizer.
Still missing things, but I've had a small white mold problem.
Clean with Physan but I can not completely eradicate the problem.
Has anyone had the problem and can give me any advice?

Sorry I can't help you with this, but I'd love to see your vivarium if you don't mind. Please post some pictures.

What type of animals do you plan on having in there?

Is the white mold restricted to certain areas?

Mold is focused behind the cork where plants are mounted and on top amd rear of the fans.

Yep...putting the imgur.com/PMMXgMx in a new browser instance works.

That is a really cool set up. I'm just a beginner, but I would love to some day have a setup like that.
