Asking for suggestions of miniature orchids for new terrarium
Hi all,
I am CJ from Taiwan; It has been 10 years that stay in Jakarta, Indonesia.
I am a lover of rain forest plants and orchids. Plan to start a viviarium in the coming February with 60cm tank.
As my house's garden in Jakarta is too hot for some orchids, and I could not go back to my home everyday, so I want to have some mini orchids in viviarum in the place I work.
As in Taiwan and Indonesia, not so many people to raise orchids in tank/aquarium, so I've visited some threads and some other forums in English for learning knowledge.
Plan to have 60cm tank; normal room temperature will be 32~34C in day time and 28~30C in night time. will have one set cool fan and T8/T6 lamp,
as it is not easy to have LED lamp in Jakarta. Any suggestion for the brand of T8 or T6? better be the normal lamp brand and spec.
it is not easy to have special lamp tube for plant or water plant aquarium in Jakarta. There is a lot aquarium plant light option in Taiwan, but unfortunately, the volt is different
between Taiwan and Indonesia, so I could not buy the equipment from Taiwan.
Would like to ask for the small size orchids list which suitable for my plan, of course it will be perfect for the Indonesia or Taiwan origin.
actually I like so much for the species from Latin America, but unfortunately it is so hard to get here.
