Very nice hygrolon cylinder!! Not sure if I could get this material here in Jakarta, wanna try it.

Thanks Bud, I actually now by heart every single one of them, and since I keep diary of what I did add and when, I know them all:-) It is amazing, there is nearly always something blooming on that cylinder, I did not expect that, I am very happy:-) Few more will be added still this year.

Thanks cjliu, try online, there is not many seller here in the USA as well, I actually found only one website where I got it, it comes from Europe so you may have some luck to order directly from some European website that ships international maybe:-)

Summer of 2012, my very first hygrolon came from our Swedish member MagnusA who was kind enough to mail me some so I can try it....then a couple of months ago I found this US seller online who was selling variety of shapes and sizes; some of them sculptural=I found them on Google.

Hi all,

This is the fabric material I got from my friend , it is made by polyester.




Think the surface mesh fabric is very similar with hygrolon,
its' background is also with one layer knitting fabric, but
this material is lack of sponge for sucking water.

I will try to use this material to raise few epiphyte orchids,
will share again if any progress.
