Default Hygrolon tube..set up

So. I've been working on multible set ups lately and yesterday i finished al ittle hygrolon project that was inspired by other members and other set ups on google images and dendroboard lol..

after taking almost a full tube of silicone, a plastic cup, some acrylic sheet, and hygrolon and some moss I picked out from some of my orchis is finished now.. I know it looks funny because the moss is kind of just sprinkled on it..

I do have a miniature orchid there , well just a tiny little piece that was on its own. and a miniature fern..

now let me this will only fit really really tiny orchids.. like tiny!!!! even a Haraella odorata will not fit here. and the Lepanthes telepogoniflora and colacdytion are pushing it, they are pretty big for this.. but they will work.. i just need to get one for this set up.

oh and thats my weather right now

Love it Hector, this is very similar to Google setup, and I think it will work great for you! DID YOU MOUNT DIVISION of your dressleri there? Did you separate this tiny piece from your mother plant? I so hope it will start to grow! No worries, we will get some micro orchids hopefully next month:-)))) My telipogoniflora that came near death is so small with 3 tiny tiny leaves, that one would fit, it is like 5x smaller than another one Ecuagenera brought later:-) Keep us posted with the pics please, and I will look for that dry moss I had to ship you!

you must get for this one Bulbophyllum moniliforme, that would fit amazingly! it is pretty much flat little pearls on the hygrolon! You can hardly sea leaves with your own eye!

I would love to mount a telepogoniflora there, but don't have the money to afford another one at the moment.. as you know lol, also i know that monoliforme is beautiful!!!! I want one !!! I was going to put the Bulb. rosemary beads there but its already attached to its cork bark and its way to small for me to disturb it again without having the risk of damaging it...

Also yes it is one leaf of my dressleri lol, it was a leaf that wasnt attached to the main plant it was just kind of floating on its own, the main little plant I have not moved at all since i mounted it on the manzanita wood

so this was just an experiment, to see if this one will do better on hygrolon, since it was doing zip on the manzanita by itself too.. soo far.. nothing .. haha

also that would be great about the moss,, I can't wait this is going to be great
