Orchids everywhere!!! Vivarium update!!! Male
Default Orchids everywhere!!! Vivarium update!!!

So, I decided to make an updated video of my vivarium and other non orchid plants. Its funny I started focusing in Angraecums and Aerangis and ended up with everything hahaha

Please let me know what you guys think, suggestions? comments? anything is appreciated..

and Tom, look the moss is there already lol, and the new orchids too let me know if you can spot the bulbo!!!

my Aerangis distincta is in spike, and a few others, but the Lepanthes telepogoniflora is coming out of bloom

also that
Epidendrum parkinsonianum is actually 25 inches long haha wow.. any how

sorry about the video they always come out that way, I guess I should invest in a camera, but i can't stop buying orchids!!!!!

The misting system is only up for 20 secs 2 times a day now, and the fogging system is completely off. for the winter. got 3 computer fans at full blast too

little water feature.

and yeah lots of orchids.. need more micro miniatures though

here is the video if it doesn't work there

Wow, that is a wonderful collection! Vivarium is outstanding. They all look so healthy! Think it's great that you have a jasmine plant too. What are the high and low temps for your vivarium in winter?

Thanks Gardentheater, so the temps vary actually a lot haha it just depends on the room temperature, but most orchids survived the drop down to low 50's for a couple of nights, my heater wasn't working in my house...

the only thing Ithink I lost(still hoping it will come back to life somehow ) was my Dendrophylax lindenii, the fawcetti however didn't mind that drop in temperature..

umm so I would say it gets in the high 50's to low70's in the winter so far sometimes higher or lower depending on the weather,

I don't really have a way to control the Heat other than the controlling the whole room.... but everything is Happy.. .one big mistake that I did was not cutting the watering times down sooner, so many things went yellowish ,but no losses other than the one mentioned..
