Great work, moss takes some waiting, good luck. For me lighting a tall cylinder would be problematic, unless the base was very thick and narrower towards the top. That way the top plants wouldn't shade out the bottom ones as much.

Thanks, so far so good. I have few plants that will be added slowly, I try to choose the one that love to be moist at all times, and that would do good on hygrolon. The ones I have there now seems to enjoy it and after nearly 2 months I do not see any issues, but opposite, Haraella is blooming all the time and happy, and Bulbo rosary beads is attaching the roots. Even that near death Lepanthes telipogoniflora that arrived from Ecuagenera only with one tiny last left leaf is still holding, leaf still nice and heathy and I can actually see the roots grow into the hygrolon, so maybe it will pull through as well!

Ok, as promised, latest update.
I am very happy so far with the whole set up. I have this for some 2 months now, and everything seems to be working just fine, and the plants are happy. There were 3 plants from the beginning - Haraella retrocalla, Bulbophyllum rosary beads and Pleurothallis leptotifolia. All of them are doing great for last 2 months, and haraella is actually constantly blooming now with 2 spikes about to open and 3rd just starting to grow. I did apply also the dry moss mix some month ago. It is taking it's time, but FINALLY right now you can see green moss spurs on it, so I assume another month and it will be turning nice and green. Also, I did mount there that poor "nearly dead" Lepanthes telipogoniflora (it did not make trip from Ecuagenera). Even Ivan from Ecuagenera said it is pretty much gone he gave it to me, it had one very tiny small leave left and few good roots. When I was working on it today, I saw NEW LEAF growing, and it has already some roots grown into the hygrolon, YOUPEEE!!!! There will be another one coming next month from Ecuagenera, so hope that this one will make the trip. Since my MAsdevallia herradurae was not doing great outside, I did actually listen to Bud's advice and mounted it on hygrolon as well. And than added today Scaphosepalum rapax. There will be few more minis that will go there, so I hope everything will work fine. I also did order one more spot LED light, with more plants mounted it will be needed. I love the fan I did use, it seems to be working great. Regarding the hygrolon wick, It really wicks a lot from the bottom, so I am not placing any plants all the way down, and than the wicking from the top is much less, and the tube must be refilled with the water at least 2-3 times a day. It would be not optimal if you would need to leave for longer period of time, since you have to refill the top every day, but it works for me. On the pics, you can see all mounted plants, new leaf on Lepanthes, moss spurs and some roots growing inside.
