Bio Vivara - Looks Amazing - Does anyone use one?
Ok
silly me, spending my Saturday again browsing the web, looking for new suggestions and tips for my mini vivarium attempts when I found this - 18" Vertical Rainforest Emulating Enclosure by BioVivara. I love it. I am so brand new into the miniatures and so do not have space, but the one that is 18x12x12 with build in airflow system, water system and extra fogger is just screaming at me you MUST HAVE ME. Ok, holding myself for now, but definitely my Santa's list this year might have written BioVivara! I like the fact it has everything build in, which is exactly what I need and look for, just assemble and start. ANYONE PURCHASED THIS VIVARIUM??? I would love some feedback on it. Many thanks

Just my 2 cents...

you can get it for much much cheaper if you do it yourself... and it is glass, there are small exo terra ones, and thir like 40 bucks, i just saw it at petsmart on sale.. lol today...
foggers you can get them for 40 if you use humidifiers and just attach a hose, and if you want to go out, like Adam says.. I got the ultimate Mistking thing, thats 200 bucks... but there are cheaper ones out there too... but with the mist king you can add nozzles later on if you decide you want more of these vivariums.. if not there are cheaper ones out there...
fans are like 10 dollars.
soo.. but if you do not want to go through all the building process, then its convenient when its put together..
I loved the build though i think that was my favorite part.

Thanks Guys
I am not really into handy man work, mostly because of luck of time - price that comes with owning the business. I do think the $375 price tag is little high (or for handy people probably crazy high considering they can assemble this much cheaper), however I do aim for convenience, and assembly kit, the one that has EVERYTHING. I really do not want to go through adding, cutting, piping, etc:-))) Call me lazy, call me crazy, but if I will ever go for such a thing (which by latest falling in love with the miniature orchids is very possible), I want to order, receive, assemble and run! If there was any other product like this, which would have build in fan, build in water system, and fogger, I would for sure consider it, but I like neat look of build in, with no visually hanging parts and pipes:-)))

Oh, forgot to mention, they have bigger ones, but this is pretty much the BIGGEST size I would go for, no space. This would fit perfectly on the top of our crystal glass display cabinet! I did measure already, of course:-) so no bigger one for me:-)))))

I would not buy it for me because I can build something more taylored to my needs. When buying these you have can't do much outside of the design specs. Also $300 for just the acrylic structure seems very expensive. You still have to buy the fans and if you want a misting system, background, etc.. I would prefer a cheaper exoterra. Just my 2 cents.
