Very Impressive set-up, Bosco
Do you have a mister in the giant brandy glass to provide humidity?
or is that just a large cocktail waiting for you while you work on your chids?

Dorthy!
If I ever need to find a needle in a haystack. . .I am coming to you! OMG, you're a whiz.
I LOVE the whirley hanging, and the squirly hanging candle holders! Those are just what I was looking for.
Do NOT just love the oranament ball. I agree, I can't imagine any plants could do well in there.
The teardrop bubble at the show is really pretty!
Fun to see novel ways to care for the orchids.
Thank you Thank you Thank you

Just an update on those glass bubbles...
My lepanthes were not liking the environment these glass bubbles provided, it was either too wet, too dry, not enough air circulation. They make nice presentation pieces, but I found it difficult to keep anything thriving in there for very long. I tried several different species with no luck. If anyone has any tricks/tips to offer I'd be glad to hear them.

New to OB
I am so new to OB and I am having a hard time finding my way around. I picked this forum because of the Orchidariums/Terrarium way of growing orchids. I have a small collection of 24 orchids mixed variety. I am waiting for the delivery of my Maui Orchidarium and once its up and running I want to mount some of my windowsill Catts. I have been surfing the net and trying to learn everything I can about mounting orchids and what you can mount them on. I see some have used driftwood, oak bark, cork etc.... Recently, a dear friend who uses Cottonwood Bark to carve faces on the bark showed me the pile of Cottonwood Bark he had and it looks so much like cork. Does anyone see any reason why one couldn't use Cottonwood bark to mount orchids? Also some use slicone to mount but I am afraid to use it as it may cause damage to the orchid. I plan on using wire and new zealand spagnum moss. I can hardly wait to get started. Any information I can get from some of the most knowledgable orchid growers will be greatly appreciated .

Bos- Can you give me an estimate on how much all that acrylic cost? I might want to make a cool house in a dark part of my home and this would be a good material to work with. Thanks- Mateo
