My large terrarium--pictures
Here are pics of my large terrarium. It's 36 x 36 x 18.
About 150 watts worth of lights. A small fan is used to disperse heat.
Orchids, bromeliads, ferns, begonias!
Enjoy.

Wow, that is amazing! What a beautiful terrarium!
How long did it take you to construct it?
Is this your first terrarium?
Thanks for sharing!

Yes, it was my first terrarium. It was patterned after the one i saw on the Black Jungle website.
It took a couple of days to construct. First the foam base with the cypress branches, then covered in black silicone, then quickly applied the coco peat. Then planting was last!

Nice job!! I love the front opening doors! Did you build the tank your self?

No, i ordered it from Glasscages.com - Home. They don't ship glass, so i had to wait until they had a delivery to L.A.
This is the only place i have seen the front doors available.
