I worked at a pet retailer for almost 7 years and before I left to go back to school the big news was that Hagen Corp as a whole had decided to no longer be a supplier to chain retailers, and to only conduct business with independent pet retailers.

This could probably be why some people saw the terrariums being discounted, the stores were trying to move merchandise that they knew they wouldn't be carrying anymore.

Looks great, but I haven't found a good reason to set up an exoterra tank, I don't have much miniatures to put in a tank.

I've thought of trying Exoterra for both orchids and my herps.... just don't have the $ nor quite sure where I'd put one. I do like the design though!

I got mine online from Drs. Foster and Smith

because I was looking for one bigger than what PetSmart offered - I got the 24" x 18" x 24" high.

I've put some minitures near the top and on the back, and a warm loving Pluerothallis in a shadier part.

My BIG problem now is that I can't stop putting plants in it. Help!
(I'm even picking up tillandsias and resurrection fern off the ground from my walks in the neighborhood...) Oh wait, there is still some space over there on that log...
