This tank looks really great! Actually, I think I'll redo my eggcrate to have the consecutive layers like yours. Thanks for the idea!!

Thanks everybody!
I do find levels are more convenient to reach the plants from the back row, plus you can see them better that way.

Looks really good!

I do have a question for you though. How are you keeping the eggcrate upright on the walls of the tank?

I just put all kinds of heavy stuff in the corners, so it would keep the egg-crate in place.

Back left corner has heavy white cache pot to catch the water drips if there is condensation on the fan (I don't want any water on the bottom of the tank):

Back right corner has narrow tall heavy empty glass vase, just to hold the egg-crate:

Front corners have large clay pots turned upside down that serve as stands for larger plants and hold egg-crate too:

Orchideya - now you just have to put together knock-down-kits and Voila ! you have your own business....you can also supply a plant or 2 with the kit.

I have said it before, but that set-up is worth doing. I have an entire basement....LOL

Excellent! That's a very nice set up you have there! And your plants all look superbly healthy! Hope you get flowers soon.
I have never seen "eggcrate'" in France anyone know where to buy it in Europe?

Thanks guys!
Nenella, it is a light diffuser, here we have it at Home depot in the suspended ceiling department or sometimes - lighting department. So maybe you could check those two departments in your local home renovation stores.
Hope you'll find it.
