I believe that the foggers require constant maintenance of the disks used to produce the fog (read added expense); I use a mistking system in my viv, it looks like others do as well...

I appreciate that but I live in regional Australia and t's hard to get most things here. If I can't drive to the next biggest town and get it I tend to avoid it as I like to be able to easily go back to the seller if there are issues and there is often also an added expense of extra postage to here too. Another thought I had was to make my own version using a fish tank power head on a timer connected to some fine garden irrigation mist heads.

I've had no problem using a human grade "cool mist" humidifier instead of the disks designed for herps. You should be able to find them at a local pharmacy or supermarket. I run when the lights are turned on and have been successful growing D. funalis and fawcettii along with many other minis. This won't replace watering, though.

Where are you getting your ghosts from? I have one growing great right now, but I'd love to have more.

I've actually got a healthy stock of Polyrrhiza sallei that I plan to sell. It's the elusive Cuban cousin to lindenii - identical flowers - just larger!

Unfortunately it seems they are getting hard to come by - many of the large distributors (such as Oak Hill) are no longer selling at this moment in time. Haven't seen many in eBay lately either.

Franco,
Let me know when you are ready to sell the P sallei. I might be interested in buying one.

Mine came in a flask from a nursery in Australia, Rosella Orchids. I don't know if they ship overseas sorry.

I have one NBS (2 years) mounted plant with a couple smaller seedlings on the mount as well that I can part with - and another smaller mount with 3-5 plants on it - these guys are about 4-5 years from blooming. I also 3-4 BS plants and two mounts of tiny seedlings, but I think i'm going to hoard them for now - I'm a bit of an addict. I'll be listing them up on eBay later this evening - but feel free to message me here. These are the last of the plants I have now - and probably wont be able to get my hands on anymore until late summer/fall.
