It is a difficult choice, sometimes. I started with the conviction that I would only grow orchids that were suited to the environment that I could easily provide. For me, that meant no Phals or other warm growers.
However, I think it is safe to say that we all love a challenge - why else would we choose to grow orchids? So, over time, I have added some plants that are warm growers. Some are doing okay, and some have adapted and are doing well - maybe not spectacularly well, but at least they are growing.
I have to think long and hard, though, before I take on a warm grower, as I know I may not be able to make them very happy.

Well, cleaned out the tank today...starting fresh
I went a little nuts shopping at EOoM so I'm not going to be purchasing a few new minis...decided to use some of what I already have and just add one new one from the latest order
The Koellensteinia graminea has been added to the WOC shopping list
I have lots more room in the tank without having to make arrangements for the icepack
I hung Leptotes bicolor in the far left corner as it doesn't like to stay wet...then I added the Aerangis rhodosticta and the Haraella odorata and on the floor is my mounted Dendrobium lichenastrum var prenticei. The one I'm waiting for is Prostechea garciana 'Pink Zebra' from EOoM.
Will be keeping a V-E-R-Y close eye on these babies but I'm sure I'll be moving stuff around until I'm satisfied
