Ranitomeya are not arboreal in the pure sense where their lives take place in the canopy. They are terrestrial frogs that like to climb though.
There are some species though that I notice do spend more time higher than others. My lamasi are one of the few who prefer sleeping on elevated portions of the viv.
My other thumbs usually retreat to either a low brom, leaf litter or ground cavity at night, but during the day, they climb and hop to all over. Same can be said for pumilio as well.
Even my chubby tincs will climb and rest on a top brom if they have access to it.
