Smile First time flowers in my tank

About more than one month ago, I got some Holcoglossum flavescens form local market. They must have suffered with cold and try winter night here for servel weeks until I found them.

After they moved into my tank, they seemed better day after day and especailly one of them might think it's getting close to spring,(there was a heater in my tank and i switched it on evey day time) so it brust a spike after 2 weeks.

These days I suddenly found it flowered. This is the first time I get orchid flower! It is the biggest encouragement to a new guy in orchid like me!

Congratulations! I remember your 1st posts, and was wandering how your tank (with the foam background from a reptile tank) was working out. It seems to be doing just fine, your tillandsia in the back looks healthy too. Before you know it, you'll be looking for more tanks and more plants.

Thank you ezil. Feel very happy for you still remember my first post

Foam background works now. Maybe it is not the best but I did see some orchids attached their new roots onto it, such as D.moniliforme and Phal.lueddemaniana.
I'll continue observing their grow.
