Default Help

I am doing an enclosed display for our orchid show and needs suggestions as to small plants and mosses to use in what will be a miniature landscape with a waterfall. Can anyone help?

I've seen something called Riccia mentioned as a moss or moss substitute. What is it and can I use it?

Ron -

Riccia is an aquatic floating plant that will sometimes grow out of the water like a moss if the substrate is wet enough.

Ron, I might be stating the obvious here, but I think you're best bet would be to check out some forums dedicated to vivariums

How long do you have before the set up needs to be ready?

Ron - The reason I asked was Ray @ First Rays carries what he calls a moss milkshake that gives results in several weeks. Here is a link to the product:

Hope this helps!

I thought so too so I ordered one for myself. I plan on doing a build over the winter so it will come in handy.
