Is there a misting system that has it's pump on the inside of a terrarium as opposed to the basin of water on the exterior? All models I've seen thus far have the water basin on the exterior of the terrarium.
I don't have a lot of room on the exterior for a misting system. I'd rather use a pump in the water basin I'm planning on having in the terrarium to pull water for misting if that's at all possible.
I'm actually looking at the Repti Flo 250 pump for this as it supposedly works in as little as 1/2 an inch of water. I will probably have about 1 1/2 inches of water in the complete 12x12 bottom portion.
Mistking
Looking for a misting system? Look no further. Automated misting systems from MistKing are used by multitude of plant enthusiasts and are perfect for Orchids. Systems feature run dry pumps, ZipDrip valve, adjustable black nozzles, per second control! Automatically mist one growing shelf or a greenhouse full of Orchids.
you could use an ultrasonic fogger in conjunction with a fan on a timer. Although it doesn't answer your question. and you already knew that. It does recreate the whole cloud forest thing. I've had good results with ultraconic mist. So long as you use pure water.

I'm currently using an ultrasonic fogger, but I was starting to wonder if it really did as good of a job as a mister. I guess based upon your response the answer for me would be to leave the fogger on longer then.
Thanks for that! Great reminder and new direction for my thoughts! As this is my first real terrarium build, I'm a bit lost at times and forget stuff.
