Default Air circulation in terrarium

How important is air circulation in terrariums and what are the results of not having any? Whats the best soil for terrariums?

Air circulation is very important. The plants need air movement. Most people who put orchids in tanks keep the plants in the pots that they are in, or mount them on cork or wood. That way they can be removed if needed. You put a layer of gravel in the bottom . You can put moss, driftwood etc. around the pots to hide them. If the tank is open at the top, many orchids find the air movement good enough.

You can attach computer fans to keep the air moving. Otherwise you can quickly get fungal diseases and bacterial infestations on plants.

How do you attach the fans? Do you mount them on top?

Yes, usually use metal wire or glue. Depends on what is possible according to the type of setup.

I found some computer fans i can hook up to run on a 120 volt cellphone charger and a timer.

I'm afraid I take the easy way. In my little green house I have a small personal fan on a timer that works well. It was quite cheap.
