Environmental control on steroids: Digital Aquatics' HerpKeeper
Have you dreamt about better control of lighting, humidity and temperature? Something with probes and feedback? I have.
Just got the brand-spanking new HerpKeeper from DigitalAquatics. It is a little controller box like on a home-thermostat, packed with control features: Timers with loops and random functions, turning outlets on or off depending on temperature and humidity readings from a probe, different settings for day and night and seasons, and much more. With some add-ons, the thing even sends you e-mails if a parameter is out of bounds! Absolutely stunning. The programming takes a little while to get used to, so I put a cheat sheet together and posted it on the support forum for the HerpKeeper.
Still learning about it, and putting a program together. Will let y'all know how it's going. This is just a heads up. This will revolutionize how we think about controlling conditions in our terraria.
No, I don't work for them, and I am not paid for this either.
