Next summer, he may be bringing a small group of folks who are interested in spending some time in the Amazon. This would include birders, herpetologists, botanists etc. The idea would be to spend several days in one place and really get to know it. If he does I will go too.

Many canopy systems are built by local people. Bart's group has developed some expertise, particularly for researchers. More and more now he consults rather than carrying out the construction.
He's a 62 year old little boy who never stopped climbing trees!
