Beautiful setup. I love the fairies!
In my terrarium, there's never a problem with excess water. It seems to evaporate fast enough. That said, I have a computer fan in there moving the air around constantly, and I have about a quarter-inch gap most of the way around the top of the tank. I'm putting in about a quart of water per day between watering with a spraybottle and fogging with a Repti-Fogger. The water level has never risen above the metal edging on the bottom of the tank.
I'm sure you'll have great success with your terrarium - it is a thing of beauty and an obvious labor of love. Congrats.

Thanks I don't think I have any chids. I am new check my list and let me know if I do. So I can identify mine. lol

I have a misting system with 6 nozzles. I also have 2 fans and I don't think they do a very good job so I have 2 more on the way because I think it need more air flow. I hope you are right for I dread draining water. It reminds me of cleaning my old fish tanks. UGH!
Thanks
