Questions on a new 90gal Terrarium with Drip Wall using a canister filter - Orchid Board

I am new to the Orchid Board and growing orchids in general. I am in the process of converting a 90gal Cichlid tank into a terrarium for orchids. I got some ecoweb from First Ray's and I am going to use it for a drip wall in the back of the tank. I have not decided how I want to do the bottom of the tank. I would like to contain the drip wall into its own sump along with the filter intake. The output is going to be through drilled plastic pipe spanning the top 46inches of the ecoweb.
The filter has a capacity of 250gph and it can push a lot of water. Can mounted orchids handle the considerable water flow down the drip wall? I have seen some posts about this for vivariums, but I am not sure if others have done this for orchids only. Another question concerns whether a mist or fogging system would be needed. It seems the drip wall would provide the necessary humidity in the tank.

I have the same pump and epiweb system. I found that with the amount of drippers needed to go along the whole length of my tank (47") I really could have used one size bigger. It will be fine...

One note, I am new to orchid growing too. I tried to "recycle" the water for about a week at a time and found out that orchids HATE that. Be sure to only use clean water one time around. do not re-use.

Good luck with your setup. i didnt really like how this worked/looked because i could never get the moss to grow. Ended up with a big wall or epiweb which didnt really go with my living room decor so I am currently looking into a natural looking terrarium with a misting system. Just my two cents.
