orchids in hydro cultro built into the lid of my teranium? Male
Thumbs up orchids in hydro cultro built into the lid of my teranium?

hi guys, this is a strange idea but the glas lid on my teranium with lots of phals on it has cracked, so i prepose that i get a new plastic lid, i prepose to cut circular holes in the lid to hold orchids in pots, im thinking of using the hydroculture way of clay pellets etc, my thinking is that the excess humididty from the tank wil rise threw the the orchid pots,
ok this is getting a little confusing, i have a 6ft tank
a fogger
a fountain
lots of phals mounted within the tank all doing well but running out of room
i have a grow light suspended above the tank
any ideas advice would be gratefully recieved
many thanks dave x

If the roots are dangling and exposed to misting with nutrient-bearing liquid, it would be fine, but if you expect to rely on humidity alone supplying the moisture and nutrition, it won't.
