Fog will not harm your orchids unless they never dry out. I know this has been done many times with people who keep vivariums. Will it produce enough fog for it to reach the tank?

had the same and broke after a while. but i could return it to target. wonder if it can only run a few hours every day and not all the time. it was nice and quiet tho. and no filters to replace

How strong is it? can i push the fog out a tube to a tank maybee?
I used one of these for a while. Mine had a little motor to propel the fog to. I had it on a timer. One day I came home to discover the unit had seized up and was issuing smoke. Lucky I got home in time.
Another method is using a reverse osmosis water pump, tubing and fogging nozzles. A cheaper version of some comercially available misters
