New tank

Hi,

since i have got this terrarium with my dartfrogs and some mini orchids running it is time for some more space for minis!



My girlfriend found this enclosure for a couple of bucks so i packed it in my van an brought it home



I plan on running it without artificial light. The temperature in this place is about 19 degrees celcius (65 F) in mid winter at night. So i have to heat the "tank" at daytime to reach the night drop. It is placed 1,5 meters away from the westside window. In mid summer there is some direct sunshine in the afternoon.

I am not sure about the natural light being enough for the orchids. What do you think about this?

Congratulations on the new enclosure. Looks like it has some great possibilities.

Natural light drops in intensity pretty quickly as you move further away from the windows.

I would add some artificial light which should also help increase the temperature during the day time in your new enclosure.
