Getting better and better. When doing something new, you always have change things around until you find that perfect balance. Looking better and better with each post. I just know that it will be full of orchid blooms before we know it.

Need any resurrection fern?

Thanks! Well, when it started, it wasn't being made for a frog....but it wasn't far off. I like it better this way, too. Eventually, I would like that whole wall to be green. I would love some resurrection fern, that will give it some nice variation. I finally found some live frog moss...man what a difference that made! I had no idea that they sold that stuff dry (dormant), in a bag on the shelf....like it was dead. A little water, and it came right to life. Amazing.

Also, I'm really glad my buddy picked up this frog for me. I was actually looking for a dart frog, but was open to getting one of these. Now, the more I look at the dart frogs, they are kind of ugly (compared to this guy). Not the colors.....they are beautiful. But the physical appearance and features just look like an ugly old toad. The red-eye has wonderful colors, they're cute as a button, and they've got a lot of character. I had no idea before that they had the beautiful blue & yellow markings on their side.....I thought they were just green & orange. I am glad it went the way it did.
