I was wondering how you all deal with drainage and water buildup. I have egg crate lining the bottom of my tank, but with several misting cycles a day, I do get quite a bit of water build up and it's reaching the point where the water level is creeping above the egg crate. It has also grown nasty algae which needs to be removed.
I'm wondering how drainage is setup in all your tanks, and whether you have an automated system for periodically draining the tank (ie some sort of pump system), or whether you do big cleans every few months in which you remove everything and drain the tank. I'd prefer not to have to take everything out of the tank to drain it, but it's a top-opening tank and so it's the only way so far.
