I want to share a picture of the 35 hex after receiving a small box of new orchids from OHG.
Starting to look like a home now. After mouting/watering/ect. and placing the new stuff into the tank, the internal humidity jumped from an avg 70% up to 80% after lights out.
The two cork bark pieces are a Phal. bellina (violacea 'Borneo'). I actually bought one, but while mounting, I discovered that there was a second independent plant about the size of a thumbnail. Not sure if it's a remnant of a compot or a small division or what. Regardless, I had an extra bark mount handy so it got its own nest. They will both be hung on the side as soon as I can make suitable hangers.
Hanging high in the back is a Brassavola nodosa. I like the rustic look of the natural bark or wood mounts, rather than the cedar planks, so I will probably try to re-mount this one in a week or so. It doesn't appear to be too solidly attached to the plank now, so I don't believe it will be a risky operation.
The only pair missing from the image is a twisted piece of grape wood mounted with a Phal. mannii and Phal. mannii (aurea form). This will also be hung, probably from the back wall due to it's shape and size.
