What do you have to do to get brom flowering? Is it keeping water in their crown??

sweeet ... My brom just bloomed too, just before I was about to thow it out. Saved itself

i believe the brom needs a driecooloer period then as it started to warm up they bloomed i also have a cryptanthus in bloom

Thats pretty cool. Mine bloomed last week. I only got to see one flower though cuase it must have fully bloomed on the weekend and the viv is in my office.

Here is what I found when I came back on Monday. I was pretty mad I missed the show.

By the way, my brom wouldnt keep water in the crown for many weeks before the I saw the flower buds.

Did you plant the crypanthus in a substrate [and if so what-
soil on top of leca or in sphag or coconut chip husk etc?] or mount it?

I have several potted crypths that I would like to incorporate into
my 3ft vertical viv that I'm planning and hope to build in the next few months.
