Masdevallia Bloom or Bust // Southern Sun Okia

Hello all,

From this view, would you say that the bloom's will flower, or die off? When I purchased the orchid on the 7th, it had one flower and one bloom. After placing the orchid in the terrarium, the flower died off after 3-4 days and the bloom got bigger but then aborted just before flowering. You'll note in the picture that the bloom in the front was the died before blooming and the one in the back was the flower that wilted after a few days.

I know I heard once that "an orchid watched never blooms", but.... can't help myself. Planted this masdevallia southern sun okia in my cloud forest style terrarium. Wrote it up separately, but temps never go above 70 degrees and humidity is around 75% on average with twice daily 20 min 100% humidity sessions. Very good airflow with visible leaf movement when on (90% of time).

Appreciate any other advice or comments...
