Even in a small tank, I reckon you could still create that bush look, with some careful planning and design. The only problem I see in having the bush look in a small tank is you'd probably have to prune and remove excess plant material.. if you also used plants other than orchids. You'd have to take into account the possible sizes of flower spikes and whether or not they would fit in.

Oh yeah here's another idea, maybe not acheivable in your space, but it's inspirational to say the least

WOOOOOOW!!!! Do you know who you are? You are the greatest tempter! Now I know how my balcony (balconies) will look like if they will be sufficiently wide.

But now I have one question. I thought to put shutters on windows to reduce the light intensity. But I love the look of slabs hanging on windows. How can I combine shutters and slabs?

You're welcome Shadow If I had only a balcony I know I'd do it!

Even if your balcony isn't as wide as Milan's you could still enclose it and hang mounts on each 'wall', if you wanted to have some orchids on shelves, diy your own plumbed trays so that when you water the orchids it would run off and collect in a bucket That's would I did with my shelves in my hobby GH because originally it was in the study and I got sick of carting every plant off to the sink to be watered

Can you explain what you mean by slabs? Yep if you got loads of sunshine you would have to create some shade so as not to fry your orchids

I mean the piece of tree bark or something similar to mount the plant on. Is it incorrect? Which word do you use?

Since water likely gets the flowers wet in the wild, seems like air circulation is likely the key

Oh ok I use mount, panel, piece I haven't heard the word slab before but I guess that applies too, though when I think slab I think slab of cement I've also seen 'raft' used too but that makes me think of boats.
