Ooooh, I likey! Nice selection.

I've gone from not knowing about orchidariums a few months ago, to seeing yours, Ross's, Dana's, that guy in Russia and a few others.....to now, imagining what mine is going to look like when I build one....to which account I'm going to debit to start funding this projecting with. I'm going to start searching around the board for tips.

Enjoy your new project Susanne. Looks awesome.

Looks amazing Sue. Read back a few about the little fishy, so glad they went to happy homes. Mine merely aged but had a great life traveling from the east coast to central Fl. and Oscar would totally agree with the orchidarium set up. So much fun, enjoy your new project. You know it's going to be like rearranging your furniture

The Mystacydium capense...it was in there, just forgot to add it to the written list

By the way, it's been one day and I'm already thinking of some changes! That didn't take very long!

Well...it didn't take long!

I emptied the tank this morning...the glass had a hazy look to it, guessing it's oxidation from the fish being in there.
I also decided I wasn't crazy about the mirrored background so...

we removed all the chids, spent the morning experimenting with a number of different cleaning techniques. We found that a film of toothpaste worked best! My husband saw something on TV recently about using toothpaste to clean oxidation off of headlights and tried it here. HE had a lot of work to do but it looks great

Rearranged some stuff, added a few bamboo poles across the top for hanging chids and for now, we're done...again!

Great work Susanne!

I just started to build my master orchidarium and can not wait for the time to move in all my chids!

Good luck with your new tank!
