Can't wait to see pics! I'm so envious you got to visit paramount in person...I've always wanted to, but never find myself on that end of the country.

Looks awesome - can't wait to see the pictures and the plants...the riccia is going to look AMAZING. Are you gonna have critters in the tank?
I'm just curious to those of you who have experience with aquariums, and sorry if this is a silly question, but if I want to have around 10 inches of water at the bottom of my tank for humidity purposes (mine's more of an orchidarium..not really a vivarium) is one of those cheap aquarium filters sufficient to keep the water clean? I have an 80 gallon tank, so I'm thinking 10 cm should be around 10-15 gallons...

Well there are a few things you could get. Zoomed has a few little pumps that would be good. The Zoo Med 501 might be your best bet. It is external filter so i would look much nicer then having something in the tank. All of the zoomed's products are cheap to buy. I have a Eheim Classic 2213 Filter on one of my viv. Its awesome. doesnt make any noise and its easy to clean. They are more money tho, buy could be found used for cheap.
The 501 might be your best bet, i have neverd used one, but have read that ppl like them. PLus they are cheap. SO more orchids. lol
Hope that helps.
