I heard that it is very bad for plants. Do you grow something very close to fans?

About the air circulatiuon:
- Air circulation can be really good thing, if other conditions are right. Air humidity is the most important, it has to be over 60% if you grow in baskets and over 80 if you grow in kork or some other way bare roots.
- Heavy air circulation keeps the mold away
- Brings carbon dioxide near the plants
- Brigns H2O (gas) near the plants leafs
- Helps to make the evaporation more rapid, then your roots get air and don't die.
- In the wild there's actually pretty heavy wind in the middle section of rainforest, where epiphytes mostly grow.

Jussi,
do you have your fans on all the time or some of the time [iet night or a few hours per day] and are they blowing in, out or within the the viv [just recirculating the air already inside the viv]?

Fren,
this is what I would hope I could acheive - a mixture of plants, but with a focus on many healthy blooming orchids, a water section and the look of a slice of tropical jungle/forest
