Default My 40 Gallon breeder, vertical tank.

So about a year ago, not quite, I decided to create my largest vertical terrarium/vivarium ever. I took what they call a 40 gallon breeder tank, which is wider than it is tall, put it on its end and called it a terrarium/vivarium/pauldarium.

In the tank, I grow Phalaenopsis parishii, gibbosa, deliciosa and the hybrid lovely kid. As well as my last remaining Haraella odorata, Angraecum dideri, 4 Bulbophyllum species, and two Bulbophyllumr hybrids, and one Paph. Vanda M. Pearman. I also grow many Aroids including Cyptocorynes, Anubias, Anthuriums and Philodendrons and one Spathicarpa. I have a green tree frog, a fowerl's toad, and a really big newt living in the water.

That looks really nice! Can you take another pic of it and show the whole thing so I can see?

That's wonderful, thank you! Now how and where do you have this set up? That must be amazing to have around all the time to enjoy!

Thanks. Yes you are right those are the two Bulbo hybrids, which grew tons of roots immediately and attached themselves to the background.
Kiki, i have this in my study at home, only gets north facing windows, between the book shelfs.

That looks pretty awesome Tindomul!

What lighting are you using with that? I'm been in the planning stages for a 40 breeder vertical for quite some time but I haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet.

Is everything blooming for you? The roots sure do look happy. I love how you have your H ordata. It looks very good there.

Beautiful setup tindo ... how much care does it need ie is it fully automated, or do you have to water it sometimes etc...? Thanks for sharing! It's an inspiration
