Terrarium for Phalaenopsis
Default Terrarium for Phalaenopsis

Hi, I have a little diy terrarium with a few miniature orchids and that works well for me. I have 2 mini phalaenopsis in there as well hanging upside down and doing well.

Now I would like to put all my phalaenopsis, around 10 plants, some big, in a similar setup.

What would you recommend :
- leave them in pots, put them on shelves or hangers and take them out one by one to be watered.
- remove them from pots and try to mount them so leaves point down and add a sprinkler on top.
- anything else I should keep in mind regarding this particular setup?

Pictures attached of some of the phals and of my miniature orchids terrarium as an example.

Both methods work. It depends on how much time you have for watering. You could also leave them in pots and have an automatic watering system.

I would remove pots, mount, and use automatic misters. The thought of having to water individually in a terrarium makes me shudder.
