.

all is doing well and roots all over. got spikes working. Growing orchids now I think. Hopefully I continue in the good graces of the ever powerful omnipotent orchid lords of the big bloomers.

tank 2 got started a few weeks ago and am working out the dry spots in it. I was trying to make a fog volcano. Its just making fog lava . I can route the fog with the rock tiles. I made a maze under the matala mat and it might be to complex . I dont like the foam back either. Leaves a hole if you move the hanger. Look for some large cork backs on sale of course.

FYI..
2nd tank has about 1000 bucks in it with acrylic tank, 2 led 20/100w grow lights, dual adjustable speed fans, 2 frog foggers, timers, 12 x 30 matala pad for base(pond filter) cork and bark for walls etc. Plants not included.

I somehow missed this thread, great job with the terrariums! They look fantastic and make me wish I could put one together too. The photos with the blooming cuthberstsonii are awesome, the flowers are so brightly colored.

The terrariums are inspiring. I now have another project to dream about.

The picture of the male Anole takes me back. I grew up in Houston and they were all over the outside of the house.
One summer, I was probably 12, I set up a 10 gallon terrarium with soil a fern and other house plants and caught 4 Anoles. Fed em meal worms. They laid eggs without me knowing it because one day there were little anoles.

the link shows the fog moving thru the mat under the plants . Theres more water in the tank than I really want but it does get hot from the foggers. So I had to run the water level up to keep the heat down.

Temp Air and Humidity, change one and watch the others move too. Can be like chasing ya tail;

we settled in around 72F and 80% humidity days and down to 66 and 70% at night. Ahh need colder so looks like the plants are going into the wine fridge @ 55 overnights. I hope they dont drink too much
