Crabs came! Will post photos once they get accustomed and become less skittish.

Unfortunately, two (or maybe 3) of them passed away . Probably not my fault as they immediately were shipped to me after arriving at the store's warehouse, but still very sad nonetheless...

They're definitely getting more adventurous now---they barely moved the first 2-3 days, but now they are starting to climb everywhere and it's sooooooo cool to watch them.

Schoenorchis fragrans buds

Porpax grandiflora leaves are much bigger now. Compare to last couple posts.

Haraella retrocalla buds

Pleurothallis cypripedioides. The bottom "cup" is made of two fused lower sepals.

Let me know if you want specific pics of anything!

More updates! Crabs are much less shy now and love climbing over everything, including the vertical moss wall in the back. Very fascinating to watch.

Haraella retrocalla

Bulbophyllum maquilingense

Angraecum didieri

Erycina pusilla

Restrepia royi

Tillandsia abdita

Geosesarma sp.

Neocaridina davidi (Orange Rili)

I have waited 9 months for this sucker to bloom---Aerangis modesta. At night, it smells of jasmine and heavy cream with a little twist of citrus which I am absolutely enjoying. It was well worth the wait!

Also have a little Gastrochilus japonicus seedling that decided to bloom for the first time! I am very pleased with the pendant flowers that are opening up naturally in a rosette without hindrance.

More flowers . Really starting to feel like I know what I'm doing now haha

Oncidium cheirophorum and Maxillaria sanguinea

Here is also the Pleurothallis diabolica going completely crazy; it really adds a unique texture to the enclosure. Although I wasn't particularly fond of it at first since it grew unexpectingly large and the flower was not as impressive as I thought, it has certainly grown on me as more leaves came up!

Wow, soooo cool! You’ve got quite the skill set to built it and to make it look like that. How large is your tank?
