Mister - how long & how often Male
Default Mister - how long & how often

I have one terrarium with a fogger and I do manual misting several times/week. Most plants are doing well. Setting up a 2nd terrarium, mostly mosses & ferns, and I'm planning on using a mister. How long & how often?

I assume you mean a misting system like MistKing - exact timing and duration will really depend on your ambient humidity, amount of ventilation, etc. However, I use my MistKing in 2 ways:

Very short bursts multiple times a day to keep up humidity (10 seconds)
Longer misting sessions 2-3 times per week to simulate rainfall and really soak everything (1-2 minutes)

Your assumptions are correct and advice much appreciated.
