arthropod question Male
Default arthropod question

2 question about our little terrarium friends:
1) Is it OK to mix different species. Pretty sure they won't hurt each other but I don't want interbreeding and ending-out with FrankenPods.
2) Is there a particular species that you have found more visibly active & roaming around. I think its cool when I spot one.

Different species of isopods will not interbreed, but if you put together multiple morphs of the same species, they will interbreed, and you will lose the distinct morphs eventually. Also, in a closed environment where they have to compete for resources, some species might out-compete others eventually.
