You're building a larger version of what I'm about to build. Dumb question -- where did you get the grate from (and what is it)? I'm looking for something similar for my terrarium

The grate is called a light panel/diffuser. You can pick them up at any of the big hardware stores. If I remember correctly the cost is around $12 per panel.
THAT THING IS SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll post some updated pics tomorrow... has taken a little longer to get the background done on this one but should be worth it...

Left side: waterfall made of back bones into pot/wood area...
Another more full shot, not great. can kinda see the cave off to the right, actually turned out really good, hopefully some finished pics will be better (w/ light and such)
