Well I do have aquarium experience buy never used a glass top. Usually very large reef tanks with an open top. I purchased this used just for this project since its my first build. I paid $100 for a 75 gallon drilled with a heavy oak stand a Odyssea t5 quad light. I'll eventually upgrade the light but it seems to be doing pretty well actually. Everything is showing signs of growth.
