I did that very thing, SO. I found some plastic, dual-channel sliding window tracks (similar to the image below), the purchased glass (with ground edges) to act as the sliding doors.
There's a small gap between them, but that caused no issue, as when closed, they overlapped by 3". I did have to "nick" the middle and inner partitions so condensation just dripped back into the tank, rather than overflowing.
