I did that very thing, SO. I found some plastic, dual-channel sliding window tracks (similar to the image below), the purchased glass (with ground edges) to act as the sliding doors.

There's a small gap between them, but that caused no issue, as when closed, they overlapped by 3". I did have to "nick" the middle and inner partitions so condensation just dripped back into the tank, rather than overflowing.

Came out fair/ok. But it's my first attemp.
I have 4 more bags of substrate but this seemed adequate to me. Not sure. Waiting on mister, glass lid, leaf litter, and fans. I'm getting closer!

I'm fortunate to live live about a mile from Tropiflora and just a few miles from Palmer Orchids. Both are very great resourches.
