I grow my plants in south-facing balcony covered by large glass windows. During summer, it is around 34°C day/26°C night, and 24°C day/15°C night during winter. At now, it is around 26°C during the day and 19°C at night.

Around January, the night temperature outside can plummet down to -15°C, and my balcony, even with all that insulation, cools down to around 12°C, so I use a heating mat to keep some cold-intolerant species warm enough to survive the cold winter nights. When the sun rises, the temperature recovers quickly so it seems ok.

Great looking flower, color and shape, bellina's have come a long way in species improvement. I bought 2 in May 2018 in bud/bloom and they are still blooming. You are right to be concerned about temps with bellinas, they do not like temps below 60 F.... thanks for posting

I am considering to buy one but a bit concerned that the temperature at my place may be too low for P. Belina. Summer around 22-28, night 18-22. winter 15-20, night 12-18.

Btw, what variety is your P. Belina? 'Miki'?
