Thanks for chiming in.

All I'm saying is some orchids are better adapted to mounts for reasons such as pendant growth habits and that is a well documented fact (if you are able to provide the other conditions for it to strive, I don't recall asking about them, because I know I'm fully able to provide those) that's all. Im not trying to start a debate. I personally could not imagine potting a speciosa or say a schilleriana, but I know lots do and probably have some success.

I'm very familiar with humidity and the needs in general of orchids. All I wanted to really know was your experience with light and pantherina to be honest and you've answered that question and I thank you for that. I'm not sure why Ray felt the need to provide his comments that had absolutely no relation with my question...
