Phal. hainanensis
Another of my miniature Phals, I've fallen in love with hainanensis. The color contrast between the petals/sepals and the lip/column amazes me. That's a beard hair on the flower.

Love the colors! Reminds me of an Encyclia.

Beautiful. Is this a miniature, or a smaller size phal?

And the beard hair doesn't detract from it😂

It's a miniature Phal. The flower is between the size of a dime and a nickel and the plant itself has a leaf span of under 4 inches.

Do they tend to double or branch spike? I especially like the ones that put out multiple spikes=more flowers. I'm going to look into this little guy. Like I need more orchids...currently have 31. In my house, not in a greenhouse

You're just getting started. I have a LOT more in the house.
I believe it may branch when the plant is older. The two I have (only one blooming) came to me as seedlings, so are quite immature plants.

Well! I suspect you have a larger house than I do! I currently have no more room at all for any more orchids or plants of any kind! But I'm sure I'll find a way haha. Thanks for the info on this little beauty😊
