Default Phal. chibae

This is a seedling bloom from a plant I bought about 6 months ago; chibae has been growing among my other miniature Phals where it enjoys artificial light, artificial humidity, artificial breezes, and a temperature range of about 67 to 82. Phal chibae's flower is the smallest Phalaenopsis bloom I've achieved, at at about 2/3 the size of Phal parishii. The plant itself has a leaf span of about 3 inches. When mature, chibae can have branched inflorescences with, well, gobs of flowers. I say this a lot, but this is my new favorite Phal. It's pretty damn cute:

That is very pretty! From the photo, it is so hard to visualize that plant as being only three inches across, in total. Unless I'm misunderstanding the term "leaf span." I'm thinking that is the farthest distance between the outside tips of leaves, right?

Exactly. It's a teeny plant. The gaps in the wire from which the plant is hanging are 1 inch.

I'm actually not sure on this one. A lot of the minis are at least semi-deciduous, but chibae grows at a lower elevation.
