Phalaenopsis venosa
Default Phalaenopsis venosa

This has been a long wait. the spikes developed last year and then sat and did nothing. They then started producing buds a few months ago.
The blooms are scented, not unpleasant, they smell like smoked meat (actually like smoky bacon crisps, but only people in the UK would get that!).

Beautiful. The sent seems fitting as the color is like bacon, long wait however.

That's such a pretty color. I have an equestris x venosa hybrid, so I just went and checked for bacon, but no love. Now I want venosa!

They look like smoked meat. Interesting that the colours and scents often match.
